Success Story

1) Rupay ATM Card Services

From April 1, 2017, The The Jalgaon DCC Bank started distributing RuPay ATM cards to farmers. The bank organized meetings with farmers to introduce the benefits of RuPay ATM cards. Additionally, banners, handbills, brochures, etc., were prepared by the bank to promote digital payment systems among all farmers.

As a result, there was a significant increase in digital transactions in the district. By December 31, 2017, over 7 lacs transactions had been recorded across all branches of the bank.

In an email dated November 30, 2017, from the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), it was informed that based on transaction numbers, The Jalgaon DCC Bank ranks first among all district and urban cooperative banks in Maharashtra and Gujarat states. The bank recorded 632,617 digital transactions from April 1, 2017, to August 31, 2017.

Furthermore, in a second email from the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), it was revealed that The The Jalgaon DCC Bank is the only cooperative bank in Maharashtra state to rank among the top 50 district banks in India. Currently, with over three lakh farmer customers holding ATM cards, not only do they use ATMs but also extensively utilize POS and e-commerce services for purchases.

2) Micro ATM Facility

The Jalgaon DCC Bank in collaboration with NABARD has installed a total of 238 micro ATMs in each branch under the FIF scheme.

Out of the bank's 237 branches, 203 branches, particularly in rural areas, now offer micro ATM facilities, eliminating the need for villagers in our Jalgaon district to travel to larger villages or towns for banking services.

Availing ATM services with any bank's ATM card, customers can now withdraw cash using micro ATMs at every branch of our bank.
